In this webinar, we discussed the various meta programs people use when they sort through the information in their head….

Towards and Away from motivation strategies, which really help when it comes to motivating a prospect to join your business or motivating members of your existing downline to take action.

Are people moving towards their goal, (the carrot) or moving away from their pain, (the stick)?

Just imagine how fast your downline, income and success will grow when you're able to work out which motivation strategy an individual uses and do this on a regular basis putting these new skills into action.

We also discussed internally and externally referenced people, which explains why some people can't handle rejection and give up at the first sign of it, whilst other people can fight through that to become incredibly successful.

Sorting for self or for others (why do you do what you do? do you do it for yourself or for another person?)

In time and thru time people and big picture Vrs specifics people and how if you don't understand the difference between these types of people, pretty much all of your communication with your prospects and downline could be being ignored.

So, once you understand these ideas and techniques, you can teach them to your team and watch your downline explode.

Here are the details for the webinar. This video was recorded before we had to postpone the webinar… so apart from the time and date being different, all the content etc will be the same.

I’m not talking about the basics of registering your company name, learning where and how to advertise, or even doing your product and market analysis. I’m happy to go over more of that later if you want help in those areas. The steps I am talking about are even more important. They are the internal “Brain-Train" mind-processes that we want to teach and explore with you to get you on track for success.

We’ll start off with basics, working step by step with you until they become a habit, then move up to the next level to show you how  to apply them to different situations.

Brain Train Exercise One:

It sounds so simple when you hear the experts say to see and visualize what you want  in order to achieve. It is… and that simplicity is what makes it feel hard!

We all are so often involved in that adrenaline - bursting sprinting mode hurrying to finish whatever is our latest race. We’re increasingly inundated with SO much information, and dealing with involved procedures, that  getting back to something  basic can seem silly, or a waste of time. It feels even harder than driving while talking on the phone and jotting down your grocery list … we are so used to that frenetic pace.

What I’d like to do is to have you take a bit of time here and slow your daily pace for just a few moments. We are going to help you gather your energy, mold it, and  then accelerate for the most positive results you can visualize for yourself.

This is the beginning of your ‘basic training’.

Successful people are passionate about their goals, whether in athletics or in business … so let’s get you on your way!

Imagine yourself as the jockey on a fine racehorse, waiting for the starting pistol to be fired for  the biggest race of your life. Yes, you’ve been building up to this moment for a long time. What preceded that moment?

Exercise One -

Close your eyes, and breathe.  Just breathe … slowly … in through your nose, and out through your mouth….and again….please repeat this process three times. Then, still paying attention to the pace of your breathing, remember a moment in time when you felt very very happy.

Hold that moment, and explore it. What were you doing?
Where were you…what did you smell….see…taste? Hold that image for a moment, holding and intensely feeling that happy feeling for a few moments.

Then, still holding that happy feeling, now you are seeing yourself successfully doing whatever you would be doing in your venture … making phone calls, talking to clients, traveling ….

Surround the image of yourself participating in this new action, with the happy feeling you remember. Hold onto it for a few moments, then return to the deep breathing and to your normal environment.

I would like you to start using this exercise daily …. several times a day as you can make time for it, and certainly as a process to use as part of your morning, wherever you can fit it in.  I will be back with the next building block … so see you very soon!

In this second video in Alix's series on NLP, she expands significantly on the usage of our senses in experiencing life. Using several demonstration of applied NLP techniques, it shows how the senses are an important indicator of how you process information … a good key to understanding yourself and reprogram yourself for success!

This is our 1st video for the MLM Brain Train. (It is also my (Alix's) first try at creating a video.)

In this video Alix introduces herself and tells you just a little about NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) and the value it can have for Network Marketers and home business owners.
